Solidary housing production involves the collective construction of emancipatory and democratic practices as a way to guarantee the constitutional right that ensures decent housing for all citizens. In Brazil, one of the methods developed to claim this social right was the self-management of housing projects organized by social movements and built through popular activism and non-profit organizations. The symposium "Solidary Housing Production: International Panorama" aimed to create a space for exchange and reflection on this specific way of producing housing and cities. To achieve this, exhibition panels were held in the format of lectures with spaces for debates with the audience and invited mediators to offer reflections.
